Yellow Riders has started numerous projects: game challenges, supporting existing game projects, or through independent game development. Our current projects are aimed at countering obesity, improving the recovery from acquired brain injury through therapy, or implementing games in the work process of various institutions like hospitals, fitness centers and corporations.
The Radboudumc, in cooperation with, among others, Yellow Riders, develops hospital rooms that have a healing effect on each individual patient. Leading is the personal profile of each patient. That dynamic profile determines the recovery program, which includes games, smells, images and virtual reality components.
InCourse is a user-friendly program, designed to augment existing elementary and high school educational methods, by combining that which is necessary, with that which is pleasant: InCourse can incorporate and transform course material into small computer games. Unlike most other programs aimed at creating games, InCourse does not require any knowledge of programming or coding, whatsoever. This allows teacher and even the pupils themselves to create engaging and exciting courses.

Acquired brain injury (ABI) is damage to the brain caused by an accident rather than a genetic deviation. During the process of recovery, it is imperative that the patient participates in therapy and intensive mental exercises in order to mitigate the damage done. Unfortunately these exercises are experienced as dull, confronting and frustrating, given the context in which they are required. The brain game project is an initiative to develop a game to augment these therapy sessions and mental exercises, with the goal of facilitating a more pleasant recovery.
